NAPIVIO / HELP
Your first captions with Napivio.
From opening the panel to editable captions in Premiere Pro.
Install and open the panel
The Adobe Exchange release is a CEP package for Premiere Pro. Once the listing is available, install Napivio through Creative Cloud, restart Premiere and select Window → Extensions → Napivio. Your Napivio account is separate from your Adobe ID. No personal API keys or local server are required.
Sign in and choose your account
Open Account and sign in. Enter your email in the browser and open the email link in that same browser. Check the email shown before approval, select an organization if you belong to several, and enter the code from the panel. Wait for confirmation. Codes last 10 minutes. Use the panel’s reopen button to return to the sign-in page. The browser sign-in page currently uses Polish; the panel supports English and Polish.
Generate your first captions
Save the project and open a sequence. Select dialogue tracks, leaving music and effects out. Choose the full sequence or set In/Out. Set line length and line count, then generate. Napivio exports audio using its bundled WAV preset and uploads it for cloud transcription. The sample sentence illustrates layout; it is not a preview of your own transcript.
Insert and edit
When ready, add the result to the sequence or export SRT. Napivio creates a new native captions track. Review wording, names and timing in Premiere’s Text panel and edit them there. Use Premiere’s tools for styling and positioning. SRT in Napivio Assets beside your project is a persistent project asset; keep it while the project uses it.
Minutes and translation
Your balance appears after sign-in and refreshes automatically. Check the minutes required for your selected range before generation. Optional translation sends text to the translation provider and uses a separate minute allowance. Review the translation and its estimated timing in Premiere.
Seats and switching accounts
Account → Devices marks your current panel. Organization owners can disconnect other seats; members manage their own panel. Switch account signs out the previous session and opens a new code. Offline sign-out clears the local session immediately; server revocation retries when the network returns or the panel starts again.
Troubleshooting
Generate a new code if the old one expires. If the browser waits for the panel, check that Premiere and Napivio are open and online. If the extension is missing, check its installation in Creative Cloud and restart Premiere. Do not enable debug mode or disable system security.
Material limitations
Clear track solo before audio export. Nested audio sequences and speed changes are unsupported; multicam and complex routing are not yet verified. Use a saved project. Review automated transcription before publishing your video.
